Things have been super busy for the past few days as we get ready to pack up and head back to the east coast. Yes, the time has finally arrived to get back to the place where I can take care of business personally. I can't wait! I have to see Jaleese about updating her website, head to the school about a check that needs to be reissued, and hopefully, a few interviews to be taken care of.
I've grown tired of feeling like the thing in the house that's always in the way. It just seems like that my presence has thrown everything out of wack, and instead of trying to work around it and be flexible, they just get super annoyed and tension grows in the house. That being said, I had it out with my brother's wife a few days ago. She's thick headed, incredibly opinionated, overbearing, controlling, tactless and I had enough of it. I'm tired of sleeping on the couch bed. I'm tried of living around everybody else's schedule. So tired, in fact, that I can't wait to be away from here until the end of the year. The end of the year jam packed holiday fiesta is the ONLY time I will consider coming back. Even then, it'll be for a short while.
On the flip side of all of this, I got a job opportunity today for a short 4 week actionscript gig that will pay me 9k. Am I going for it? Hell yes. I hope they think I'm qualified enough for it. I know I have to know Flex. So here goes a quick learning session. It shouldn't be TOO hard. *crosses fingers*
The washer has just buzzed. Gotta go for now! I'll be on the east coast in no time!
