Well, I'm back on the east coast. I'm staying at Andrew's place until things get moving for me. The last few days have been terrible, what with my crappy sinus problems and the move and all. But I'm here! And I have a feeling that things can only get better!
I have noticed that all of the comments I had on my past entries are missing. Not quite sure why. It could have had something to do with some of the settings that I had changed (but not saved) that wiped them out. So all of your motivational and understanding comments are gone, but not forgotten. It had made me feel better knowing that I have connections who actually care, and aren't just about using me as an instrument to help themselves.
I'm going to take this weekend and finish getting settled. Then on Monday, phone tag begins anew! I'm also going to teach myself how to use Flex. I know I went for animation and not for web, but all of the people looking for actionscript are looking to use it for web. I think this will make me more marketable in that area until I land an actual animation job somewhere. It'll give me a nice flow of cash and keep me busy. Plus, it'll amp up the resume, too. A win-win, if you ask me.
But for now, I'm out! It's been an incredibly long week and I'm beat. <3 Have a good weekend, everybody!
