The Future?

Another day passes.  Not having any mode of transportation up here is kinda painful.  Buses are unreliable and routes are extremely limited.  Trains don't exist.  Places are too far apart to walk, especially since it's pretty damn cold out right now.  So here I sit.  Unable to go back quite yet.  Unable to move forward as I want with my life.

And yet things are still moving forward.  I'm filling out job applications, taking tests, going through my stuff to see what I really need and what I don't.  Andrew is here, so our relationship is thriving.  We found out the hard way that we can't do a long distance for very long.  It's too painful for both of us.  Plans that were too open to answer or hammer down are becoming more solid as time passes.

I want to be working full time, in house somewhere by the end of February.  Not sure if it's going to work out like that, but I'll try my hardest to land something solid.

I want to have my own place before the year is out, preferably before fall.  Once I head back out to the east coast, I'll be staying at Andrew's house.  I'm extremely grateful for everything that his folks have done for me already.  With this opportunity that they're giving me, it can only go up from there!

In about five months, student loans are about to be due.  We all know what that's about... and the looming threat it brings....

So as for the future....  It's coming along.  That's about all I can say now in that regard.  Just have to keep on working towards my goal, one day at a time.
